My interview with FayerWayer (in English) This week, I did a fun interview with Latin American tech blog, FayerWayer.com! The editor, Alexander Schek, selected his favorite reader-submitted questions, and I answered them to the best of my ability. Windows 7 Multi-Touch DemoedAlthough I’ve been enjoying Windows 7 on my Latitude XT, I don’t yet have the more advanced multi-touch bits to play around with. All in due time, I keep telling myself. Fortunately, the folks at FayerWayer have shot some video of the multi-touch gestures and how they work.  The video is really shaky, but worth a look....

Windows 7 Taskbar, 'Peek' and Multitouch Gestures Caught On Video [Windows 7] — Our in-depth preview of Windows 7 mentioned a few major features that didn't quite make it into the copy we tested, but the wily crew at Chilean site FayerWayer have caught a more advanced build on (sickeningly shaky) video. Most notably, the long hands-on shows off the new dock-esque taskbar, with decent task grouping, contextual program options and a slick new glassy look. Touch navigation is demonstrated in IE and Word, among others, but support is kind of patchy — IE has smooth inertial scrolling, while Word and and the image viewer just have embarrassingly choppy, albeit multitouch, gesture...
