Kogan intros world's second Android phone: Agora / Agora ProFiled under: Handsets, Others, Android We'll be totally honest -- we pretty much blew Ruslan Kogan off when he proclaimed that he was about to push out a $199 Android phone by the year's end. And truthfully, the guy still hasn't totally delivered, but you won't find us kvetching about more Googlephones, regardless of MSRP. The Agora (AU$299; US$192) and Agora Pro (AU$399; US$256) are available for pre-order as we speak, though neither one is scheduled to ship out until the end of January. For those unfamiliar with Kogan, it's an online-only enterprise that has wares built specifically to its...

It’s designed for the office or your smart home, as the device features WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, along with typical USB port, aux line-in, analog and digital outputs. If for some reason you can’t break away from FM, it also features an FM receiver and a 10W speaker. No pricing info yet or shipping date, but we’ll let you know when we hear something. It’s not a bad looking radio, but...

Motorola intros D10 and D11 digital cordless phonesMotorola has some new digital cordless phones, the D10 and D11. Both feature an innovative design that we haven’t really seen before. If the picture above is any indication it can turn the steam from your coffee into a weird hovering alien creature. The D10 and D11 handsets are intelligent enough that they can adjust automatically to optimize output depending on how far they are from the base unit. In the intelligent ‘eco mode’, you can save on battery power and get longer talk time without sacrificing voice quality. The phone is eco-conscious because 20% of it is made from...

Sooloos intros $7,900 Ensemble music management systemFiled under: Media streamers, Other hardware Not much has changed about the 17-inch Sooloos Control:One touchpanel you see above, but what is different about the newly announced Ensemble System is the lowered barrier to entry. Sure, the kit still demands a stuff $7,900, but that nets you the aforementioned screen and the combined storage / playback Ensemble server. In other words, this neat little package includes everything you need to digitize your CD collection and integrate it into your current home entertainment setup. The server itself includes an optical drive and USB port for importing tunes, 1TB of storage space...

Motorola intros energy-saving D10, D11 digital cordless phones They may not do something crazy like connect to the internet, but Motorola's new D10 and D11 cordless phones do break some new ground in their own little way, with each boasting an eco mode that promises to automatically reduce power consumption based on how far the handsets are away from the base. To add a bit more green cred, Motorola also manufactured each of 'em using a minimum of 20% recycled material. Otherwise, you can expect the usual backlit display, 100-number phonebook, and speakerphone functionality from each, with a bit of SMS messaging and three-way calling thrown in...
